Hello, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from ElDorado High in 1989 and then went to Butler County Community College with a
full scholarship for singing. I received an AA from Butler in 1991 and then moved to Emporia, KS to
go to school at Emporia State where I received a BSE in 1993.
I married my husband, Charles in June of 1995. Four years later we were blessed with Logan, our oldest son. He is currently having lots of fun and learning awesome things in Miss Hoopes class this year. Logan is our sports fanatic. He enjoys playing baseball in the summer, football in the fall and Basketball in the winter. So you can imagine that I spend a lot of time at practices and games. In 2000 we were blessed with another energetic son, Drew. Drew is right next door in Mrs. Elsbernd's class where I am sure to keep an eagle eye on that young man. Drew enjoys gymnastics when he doesn't have a broken leg or foot and stitches. You might say that he is not afraid of anything. Finally after 5 years of
little boy bliss we were surprised with a beautiful princess, Faith. She is not old enough to come to school yet but she sure would like to. Faith likes gymnastics too. She is a strong willed, independent little girl with a lot of spunk. Together our family enjoys going camping in the summer. We are at the lake almost as much as we are at home during the warm months of the year. I hope you feel like you have gotten to know me a little bit more.
I am so excited to get to know your children this year! I know we are going to have a great year. I love
children and I love to teach. I look forward to working with all of you to make this school year the best
ever!
